ACT OF ESTABLISHMENT
OF FOUNDATION
“CHRISTIAN ENLIGHTENMENT CENTER”
Date of Establishment June 17, 2004
I. GENERAL
Article
1.1 The foundation is a non-profit organization according to the
articles of the Law for Organization and Persons with Non-profit
Purposes.
/2/ The
foundation is a voluntary, independent, non-political organization
voluntarily uniting physical and juridical formations who accepts
its purposes.
/3/ The
foundation is a non-profit juridical formation acting for private or
public benefit.
NAME
Article
2/1/ The name of the foundation is “CHRISTIAN ENLIGHTENMENT CENTER.”
HEADQUARTERS AND ADDRESS
Article
3 The headquarters of the foundations are located at Madara
Boulevard 27, Entrance B, Apartment 38, Shumen, Bulgaria.
/2/
Every written statement issued by or on behalf of the foundation
must contain the foundation’s name, headquarters, address,
registration information including BULSTAT and tax number.
II. PURPOSE, METHODOLOGY AND SUBJECT OF
ACTIVITY
Article
4 The foundation has the following purposes:
1.
Increasing the Christian upbringing and culture of the individual
independent from sex, age and ethnos.
2. The
establishment of a Christian library containing audio, video and
computer database with Christian materials accessible to the public.
4. The
constructing and realization of programs for social and spiritual
reintegration.
METHODOLOGY
Article
5 The methodology of the foundation is as follows:
1.
Construction and realization of programs for increasing the
Christian upbringing and culture.
2.
Establishing and maintaining of a Christian library containing all
versions of the Bible, Christian references (dictionaries,
concordances), Christian books, newspapers and magazines.
3.
Establishing and maintaining of an audio center with audio tapes and
CDs with audio Bible, sermons, teachings and Christian music.
4.
Establishing and maintaining of a video center with video tapes, DVD
and VCD with Christian sermons, teachings, films and Christian
music.
5.
Establishing and maintaining of a computer database with Christian
materials.
6.
Organizing seminars, conferences and workshops for training
concerning Biblical and Christian values and for the application of
computer and information technologies in the spiritual training and
development.
7.
Maintaining connections and sharing of experience with similar
organizations, foundations and fellowships from the country and
abroad.
8.
Directing and performing scholarly research and publications
connected with the activity of the foundation.
9. Any
other activities connected with Christianity which do not oppose the
purposes of the foundation, international law and the Bulgarian
constitution.
ACTIVITY
Article
6 To complete the purposes defined by this document, the foundation
will participate in the following activities: publishing, purchasing
and selling of books, audio and videotapes, CDs and other materials
connected with the Biblical and Christian doctrine, courses and
advertising.
TERMS
Article
7 The “Christian
Enlightenment Center” foundation is established for an
undisclosed period of time.
III. GOVERNING
Article
8. /1/ The foundation will be represented and governed by the
presiding chairmen, In cases of death the foundation is governed by
the chairman’s successor defined by the unified agreement of all
successors.
/2/ The
chairman:
1.
Governs the work of the foundation.
2.
Governs the property of the foundation.
3.
Creates a program for the activity of the fountain for the fiscal
year.
4.
Organizes the spending of the budget of the foundation.
PROPERTY
Article
9. /1/ The property of the foundation is established by:
1.
Initial contribution of the founder during the establishment of the
foundation.
2.
Contributions and inheritance of local or foreign individuals and
organizations which support the purposes of the foundation.
3.
Sponsorships.
4. Rent
of properties.
5.
Educational and cultural-upbringing activities.
6.
Income from other activities.

Bulgarian and foreign individuals and organizations can
unconditionally or under established conditions donate to or include
in their will the foundation in accordance with its purposes.
/Ç/ In
case that the donor or the devisor desires to establish an award,
scholarship or special financial fund, he/she can request that the
award, scholarship or financial fund is named after his/her name or
other name defined by the donor or devisor.
/4/ The
donor can request that the donation is used for separately defined
non-profit organizations or other institutions with activities not
contradicting the purposes of the foundation.
/5/ The
foundation will not accept donations or inheritances done with
unacceptable conditions or which contradict its purpose and the act
of establishment.
BRANCHES
Article
10. The foundation can open and close branches in the country and
abroad.
Article
11. The branches are not juridical in nature and are governed by an
administrator appointed by the chairman of the foundation.
Article
12. The branches maintain activity logs on the bases of which the
branch administrator presents to the chairman of the foundation an
activity and budget spending reports at least once annually.
TERMINATION
Article
13. /1/ The foundation is terminated:
1. By
the decision of the chairman.
2. By
the decision of the municipal court in the terms defined by the law
for such cases.
LIQUIDATION
Article
14 A liquidation is performed upon the termination of the foundation
according to the current laws.
DOCUMENTATION
Article15 /1/ The foundation is obligated to document minutes for
all decisions made by the chairman.
/2/ the
foundation prepares an annual report for its activity containing:
1.
Activities, spending of funds and relationship between the purposes
and programs of the foundations as well as the reached results.
2.
Size/amount of donated property or income from other fundraising
activities.
3.
Financial results.
/Ç/ The
report of the activities of the foundation is a public document and
is made available at the website of the foundation.
TEMPORARY AND CONCLUDING MATTERS
§ 1.
This document is accepted at the establishment meeting of the
foundation “CHRISTIAN ENLIGHTENMENT CENTER,” on June 17, 2004 in
Shumen, Bulgaria.
§ 2.
Changes and addendums of this document are made by the chairman of
the foundation.
§ 3
Matters undefined by this document are considered under the current
Bulgarian law.
